When I lived in Rumson, NJ and he was my "neighbor" I would regularly walk by and pick a handfull of grass from his front yard, send it to my youth minister friends, who would then use it as some kind of prize for their youth group -- a la... "We've got actual GRASS from BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN'S home in NJ!" Apparently it was a big hit in a lot of youth groups... I just kind of thought, "Oh well, let's grab some more of Bruce's Grass when I visited students at the Private School across the road... Go figure that.
