The Democrats have nobody to blame now but themselves. If things don’t get better, or, God forbid, they get worse, they no longer have Bush as their scapegoat. They can no longer blame the Republicans at all.
Of course, they will try. They will say that Bush and his Republicans messed things up so much that there was no way that they could fix any of it. Never mind the fact that they economy was well on its way down the tubes before Bush got to DC. Never mind the fact that it was a Democrat controlled Congress that voted to allow the sub-prime loans to poor people who would never be able to repay them.
But the bottom line is that it’s all on their shoulders now, and the rest of us will suffer for it. God help us!!
