Obama’s First 100 Days . . .

. . . thank goodness we’ve made it this far. Hopefully the rest of his days will go by just as quickly, and he will not be able to do much more damage.

About Valarie

I love to travel and spend time with old friends. I enjoy cool Autumn nights, Summer Lightning Bugs and Spring Thunderstorms. I love my cats, and cannot imagine life without them. :) I write some poetry, and some short stories. Nothing paradigm shifting. I love being Catholic. I enjoy crochet, cooking, and rock-n-roll. I'm easy to get along with, hard to offend, and loyal to the bitter end. My husband and my children are my heroes. Hmmm. . . not too much else to tell.

While the Catholic Church in America trembles after 100 days (see “100 days… of promoting abortion,” http://www.americanpapist.com/2009/04/obamas-first-100-days-of-promoting.html), other countries don’t seems too worried (see: Huh? Vatican newspaper: No radical changes in Obama’s first 100 days,” http://www.americanpapist.com/2009/04/huh-vatican-newspaper-no-radical.html).

In retrospect, I’m surprised it wasn’t his first 100 days and America’s last. But, I’m just a little cynical about all this.

Miss you all! Hope you’re doing well. Don’t know what the status is on your move to Texas, but hopefully I’ll see you sometime over the summer. I’ll be home pretty much the whole time. Give me a call sometime and we’ll catch up. (I lost your number!!)

Hey! Great to hear from you!! We, too are cynical. You are in good company.

We will be here all summer, and plan to make our move, whether the house sells or not by then, out to Texas at the end of the summer. I am so glad you will be around and we’ll get to see you.

Now, I’m off to read the links you posted. . .

I prefer to think it’s not so much cynicalism, but more like a realistic judgement. :-)

    I’ve tagged you! ;-)
