Popular vote means nothing anymore ! Big Money is the winner today ! Who listens to the American public anymore ??? Elections are “bought& paid for” nowdays !! JMHO

Ah, well, it could be that I absolutely cannot stomach Will Ferrell, or at least him as an actor. I saw him on a late night show interview once, and he seemed okay, but I really don’t like his movies. Sorry!!! (Does it count if Alex LOVES him and all his movies???)

I love that your Christmas sounds so wonderful, and I love you! What you shared show me the true meaning and beauty of Christmas, loving family and friends and the time we share with them. Jesus certainly didn’t come so we could all have more THINGS. Don’t get me wrong, you know me…I LOVE a good present, but the best gifts of all are the people we get to share the days of our lives with. It was hard for me the first year I didn’t get to spend Christmas with all my kids and grands [you were there though, ]. It was hard for many reasons, but the love and beauty of your family was like a healing salve to my very hurting soul. Merry Christmas dear, Happy Holidays, and Happy New Year to all. Always, Angela

Glad to hear you enjoyed your Christmas !! Like you,I agree that Christmas has become know more as a big “money maker” and the true meaning is more or less shoved into a lesser know reason anymore. I never could really understand why such a BIG DEAL was made of saying “Happy Holidays vs Merry Chhristmas”. Because,like you, Happy Holidays was just a greeting used when all 3 holidays were put into one. To me it shoud be used to recognize all 3,but I know in todays world stating that opnion is “risking a flame up on ones self “. So what ever “floats ones boat” is fine with me! Seems like nowdays everything must have a politics in it somewhere . Why ? I haven’t the slightest idea and why everyone seems to have to have a label of either “right wing or left wing or liberal or conservative” I really don’t understand ! When I am asked I say American Citizen and let it go as that. I really don’t understand what that is all about ! Valrie,I have always admired the way you LIVE you’re religious beliefs and that means a lot to me ! I was raised in south Louisiana and have known many Catholics and most always seemed Catholic in name only. But you don’t view it that way ! You LIVE it and that makes me PROUD to know you !!
